Marcus Traverzo is a 2023 OF with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Hauppauge, NY who attends Hauppauge. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.88 runner in the sixty. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a short stride into contact, moves hard into contact with his upper body, downhill swing plane with an inside swing path, looking to hit middle away, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and swing adjustments. Primary outfielder on defense, works well through the ball with good footwork and clean actions, has a whippy arm action from a 3/4's arm slot, makes accurate throws, speed will be an asset covering ground. Good student. Named to the Fall Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
