2023 New York Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Brayden Casas is a 2025 SS/3B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from New Rochelle, NY who attends New Rochelle. Casas impressed both during his BP round and in game during the course of his day, starting from an even balanced base with a hanging leg lift trigger that produced solid impact to all parts of the field. He flashed evident barrel control through the zone with intent to create lift in the bat path. He effectively used the opposite field in game and looked comfortable in the box overall. Defensively, Casas worked exclusively from his primary IF spot, displaying a clean funnel with sound glove work and developing arm actions. Topped out at 77 mph across the diamond. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
