Johnny Badala is a 2026 OF/C, 3B with a 5-10 158 lb. frame from Nokomis, FL who attends Cardinal Mooney. A medium frame with a medium build. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. A primary outfielder who had aggressive actions to the ball, fielding it off to the side of the front foot and out in front of himself. Aggressive to the ball, slowing up slightly to get to the ball. Longer arm action with throws that came out and were on target, good flight, and one-hop accuracy to the bag. Throws were 74 mph from the outfield. Also worked out as an infielder with good footwork to get to the ball. Funneled well into the chest to make the throw. Throws were 76 mph across the infield. A right-handed hitter with a wider base, high-set hands, and a high back elbow. Had a minimal leg lift into small stride, being able to impact the ball pull-side during his round of BP. He controlled the barrel, letting the ball travel but still showing the ability to work pull-side during his round. A great round of BP. Produced an 81 mph exit velocity as well. Exceptional student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
