Jibreel Long is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 5-11 148 lb. frame from Harrisburg, PA who attends Central Dauphin East. Slender young athletic build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a fast paced delivery and a long and fast arm action with nice extension out front, does a good job of staying tall over the rubber and working downhill while staying on top of the ball at release. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight but thrown for strikes and it gets on top of hitters well. Primary fastball pitcher at present, also threw a split finger change and a slow curveball that are developing pitches. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Played outfield when not pitching and showed his arm strength and easy arm action well there. Right handed hitter, hits from a very spread stance with a short rock back load, deep hand load in back, swing was well timed and he made consistent barrel contact to all fields. Named to the Fall Connecticut Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
