2022 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Beck Freeman is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Ashland, AL. Medium build with plenty of room to get stronger. Has good tempo and pace to his delivery, is balanced with a short and quick arm action and a high 3/4's arm slot, gets on top of the ball well and works downhill, hides the ball well in back and has some deception. Fastball worked consistently in the 76-78 mph range, mostly straight with occasional running life. Threw a short downer slider as his secondary pitch, threw both his pitches for strikes and had maturity in his approach. 7.24 runner in the sixty, played the outfield when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, starts his swing with a big leg lift load and an open start, big lower half shift into contact, flashed some strength to the pull side when squared up and on time.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
