Connor Hampton is a 2024 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Rogers, MN who attends Rogers. Tall and very lean build with lots of physical projection ahead of him. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a tight hand load, has a short swing for his length and size and gets the barrel out front on time and well, has some feel for the barrel, bat speed will continue to increase with additional strength and physical maturity. 8.05 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good hands on throws, will need to improve his lower half flexibility and actions for range and fielding balls at his feet. Also pitched, rotational delivery with a big fall off to the first base side leading to release. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, also threw a soft curveball.
