Matthew Cunningham is a 2024 RHP/UT with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Eagan, MN who attends Eagan. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.38 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, big leg kick to initiate delivery, keeps backside stacked, loose arm through release to 3/4 slot, fastball worked 81-83 mph with good command to both sides and good carry through the zone, showed curveball with good bite in low-mid 70's, good upside on the mound. Hits from slightly open stance with lengthy swing, collapses onto front side, softer barrel out front. Worked out in the infield, developing feel for footwork and hand actions, clocked up to 80 mph across. Named to 2023 Midwest Indoor Top Prospect List, good student.
