Colby Crills is a 2024 C/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Leesport, PA who attends Schuylkill Valley. Medium, athletic build with some present strength throughout his frame with more room to add. 5.38-second forty time. Primary catcher, narrow low set up, gaining ground and remaining in line to his target. Flashed some arm strength with throws up to 73 mph, accurate on the right side of the bag. Recorded a best pop time of 2.05-seconds. Secondary outfielder, athletic approach to the ball, fielding off his front foot, and carrying him momentum through his throws well. Long arm action, with some arm strength, up to 77 mph on his throws to the plate. Accurate, on line throws when he got on top of the ball. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance with a high-hand set. Remains on time with a leg-lift-trigger with a downhill, line-drive stroke, impacting the ball to the middle-of-the-field during his round of BP. Will continue to add power projection as he adds muscle to his frame. Excellent student. Named to Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
