Ryan Florence is a 2022 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Shadyside, OH who attends Shadyside. Big strong athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Primary catcher, threw a 1.92 down to second base. Displaying a smooth quick transfer and release, with okay footwork. Offensively, transfers his lower half well, staying on plane with still hands and a leg lift trigger. On the mound, had good balance with clean separation and attacked the strike zone. Fastball topped out at 70 MPH with slight arm side run and some sink, showed curveball, hides the pitch well. Excellent student.
