2023 Class of 2026 All-American Games
Kortland Stovall is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Mt Pleasant, TX who attends Mount Pleasant. Long and loose young pitcher's build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a closed stretch start with low effort mechanics, medium length arm action from a 3/4's slot. Fastball worked in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight but thrown to spots, willing to come inside with his fastball to right handed hitters with intent. Slider was his go to pitch, throws it often early in counts. Threw a change up in warm ups but not in the games. Projects well in all areas. Worked out in the outfield and moves easily and athletically, makes accurate throws with solid arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread no stride stance, balanced approach with a line drive swing, simple swing approach that works the middle of the field. Excellent student.
