2023 Sunshine Southeast Showcase
Joshua Malucci is a 2026 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends River Ridge. Medium frame with a younger lean build. Ran an 8.58 second 60-yard dash. Primary middle-infielder, shorter strides to the ball and limited range right now, fields it clean out front with two hand funnel, longer arm stroke to release and up to 74 across. Right-handed hitter, balanced base and sinks some into his legs, slightly longer swing path and can get around the baseball at times, works slightly uphill and can get to both gaps, will improve jump off the barrel with added strength but has the makings of starting to backspin the baseball. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
