Kaiden Kapa is a 2025 C/MIF with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Waterford, MI who attends Waterford Kettering. A lean and compact build. Ran a 7.41 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who used open feet to start and gained ground well, working through the throws. Carried his momentum well and had a whippy arm action with a quick transfer. Works through it with intent and kept throws on the bag at 77 mph. Accurate to the bag with a 1.94 pop time. Also worked out as an infielder with some bounce to his action and a compact arm stroke on throws. Threw from a higher three-quarters release and got the ball out of the hand quickly. He fielded it up the middle with a quick glove and quick but fluid actions to release it quickly. Smooth backhand shown during his reps. Threw 79 mph across the infield. A right-handed hitter with high hands and a high back elbow. Starts with even feet and showed a very compact operation in the bag. Was able to make adjustments in the batters' box and work pull-side with good line drive contact. Hands deep in the load and then a direct path to the ball. Also, hit well during Live ABs with some loud barrels to his credit. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
