Primary catcher, works hard through the ball with athleticism and quickness out the crouch, clean transfers and good arm strength already showing carry to bags and strong pop times. Also plays the infield, moves around well and fields it cleanly, loose arm and gets it out on time with low-80 arm strength. Pitches as well, athletic up tempo delivery, very fast arm and good stuff already, up to 83 with the fastball with life already and very tight and sharp slider with spin over 2300 RPMs that gets a significant amount of swing-and-miss already. Right-handed hitter, very simple swing with quickness on a good plane, accurate with the barrel and very consistent in finding it, jumps hard to the pull side and can create quick launch out front. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
