Brent Honaker is a 2022 C/RHP/1B with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Ohatchee, AL who attends Ohatchee. Big extra strong build. Switch-hitter at the plate, has a simple swing approach from both sides with a short shift into contact and a steady low hand load, aggressive approach from the right side with consistent pull line drive contact and a good bat speed, stays short and direct well, less aggressive and confident from the left side at present but can flash bat speed when turning on the ball. 7.79 runner in the sixty. Plays both catcher and first base on defense, has good arm strength at both positions, shows better present skills and tools at first base presently, moves well at first base with good hands catching and fielding. Also pitched, long arm stroke with a short stride out front, upper body delivery. Mid-70's fastball, topped out at 78 mph, gets nice fastball life and missed some barrels due to his life, threw almost all fastballs. Good student.
