Thomas Ealey is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Fort Mill. Lean tall build with broad shoulders and a lot of room to fill out. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.34 seconds. Primary OF, working aggressively to the ball working the glove nicely out front and clean midline transfer. Snapped off throws up to 76 mph with good carry and solid accuracy. Secondary LHP, working primarily from the stretch using high leg lift to build momentum over the rubber. Tends to land a bit open at foot strike but glove side works well and keeps him in the strike zone regularly. FB up to 75 mph, fairly straight but located well, SL up to 66 mph with good shape that profiles as a plus pitch with arm strength gains. LHH using a wide inline stance, tight handset and medium leg lift to start mechanics. Had some timing issues early in round but found the barrel quite nicely as round progressed. Hit tool projection with increased physicality. Tremendous performer in the classroom.
