2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (Sept 21)
Preston N Brown is a 2025 C/SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Highland Hts, OH who attends Mayfield. Medium young build with plenty of room to get stronger. 8.28 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, has nice actions for his age and comes out of his crouch quickly and cleanly, gains ground well with good footwork, nice direction through release and makes accurate throws, sound overall fundamentals, will keep improving his tools with physical maturity. Also worked out in the infield and showed good athleticism there as well, has quick hands fielding the ball and a quick release. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight bent knee stance with a deep hand load, gets into his lower half well in his swing, gets the barrel out on time consistently and made solid middle of the field line drive contact, solid swing base to build from. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
