Benjamin Reed is a 2026 OF/SS/RHP with a 5-11 162 lb. frame from New Albany, MS who attends New Albany. Recorded a 6.82 60-yard dash. Primary outifelder with a tall and lean build. Fielded the ball off to left side in the outfield and showcases athleticism to actions. Displayed good arm strength with carry, reaching 83 mph on throws from the outfield. Secondary shortstop and showed the same athleticism and arm strength across the diamond. Left-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with open feet. Employed an inside bat path and showed the ability to go to all fields with line drives. Also pitched and begins delivery with a side step and a leg lift to his core level. Used a short arm action and an overall low effort, athletic delivery. Ran the fastball up to 82 mph while showing quality arm speed. Mixed in a curveball that had good depth to it. Also showed a changeup with fade. Named to the 2022 13U/14U Sunshine Mid-South Showcase Top Prospect List.
