Bryson Edwards is a 2021 2B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Mill Spring, NC who attends Polk County. Medium frame with a lean build. Ran a 7.29 second 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, worked out in the infield with long strides to the ball, shows fluidity moving to the glove side and adjusts slot well into throws, gets going to bag well and creates some carry across. Left-handed hitter, sets up narrow and slightly open with a low hand set, able to get timed up well with the lower half and works the ball up the middle and to the pull side with line drive contact. Good student. Verbal commitment to Coker College.
