Jack Henning is a 2024 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Houston Christian. Long athletic frame with good room to fill. Ran a 7.41 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, plays with good energy on the dirt, short quick strides with solid timing, plays through the ball well and adjusts slot when necessary, short quick release up to 80 mph across. Also pitches, compact operation with good direction, low-stress release with a quick arm, up to 83 with the fastball and shows two-plane bite on the breaking ball, project two-pitch mix. Right-handed hitter, open start and short move, good bat speed and strong hands, has some difficulty getting the barrel out at times but strong flashes off the barrel when accurate, has a strong foundation to project on.
