Caleb Hammond is a 2023 OF/2B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from High Point, NC who attends Westchester Country Day. Recorded a 6.64 second 60-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and strong lower half that can run. Showed some arm strength on throws from the outfield at 84 mph working through the ball from a clean gather to exchange. Medium arm swing to a 3/4 arm slot and accuracy around the bag on throws. Right-handed hitter with a wide base and open front side setup in the box. Short knee-lift trigger stride to square with high back elbow slot. Linear bat path through the zone with some juice to the pull side out front. Excellent student.
