Preston Lynch is a 2024 C/3B, OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Magnolia. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.35 seconds. Hits from spread stance with even base, stays balanced through swing with level plane through zone, has some impact pull-side when on time, body projects for more power, could improve at covering the plate. Worked out behind the plate, upright set with even base, very low transfer with length to stride out of crouch, vert rotational, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Also pitched, quick arm, fastball worked 78-81 mph with low, heavy spin, also mixed in curveball with slurvy shape and flashed a fading change also. Very good student.
