Jared Burdette is a 2024 RHP/1B, 2B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Richmond, TX who attends Foster. On the mound, stocky build with pretty standard belt high lift delivery and release out of a low three-quarters slot. Fastball shows moderate arm side life in the mid 80’s. Long fluid arm stroke plays well into the slot. Leaky front side causes arm side misses at times. Filled up the zone as the outing progressed. Slider employs sweeping action that enticed brutal swings off the outer third. In the infield, body fits a corner profile. The arm plays really well from the left of second, glovework is still developing and can be a bit stabby at times. At the plate, he sets up with upright narrow stance. Approach is geared heavily towards the pull side with decent hand speed. Could work on finding a more consistent feel for the barrel. 7.91 60-yard. Outstanding student.
