Mason Murphy is a 2025 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-4 224 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Ridge Point. Large frame with broad, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.69 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, simple side step into delivery, stays over front knee well, low 3/4 slot with whip to the arm, fastball peaked at 88 mph and sat just below that, heavy sink on the pitch, good feel to spin the slider as well, sharp bite, high upside on the mound. Hits from even stance, lefthanded stick, strength stands out, has impactful power already, shifts into swing well, will cut off at times, legitimate hitting tools. Showed off the arm strength in a multitude of workout spots, graded out best from the outfield defensively. Excellent student, named to 2022 Sunshine South Top Prospect List.
