Primary outfielder with a medium frame and lean athletic build. Fundamental footwork on approach to a one-hand gather and long arm action on throws to the bases at 81 mph. Athletic mover with accuracy on throws. Athleticism translates to the infield with clean funnel out front and throws across the diamond at 78 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher with a medium arm swing to a high 3/4 arm slot release down the slope. Clean delivery with repeatable mechanics and fastball up to 78 mph (2146 RPM). Straight fastball with solid spin rate to both sides of the plate with curveball at 68 mph (1735 RPM). He featured a straight changeup from his high-slot in the high-60s for a solid three-pitch mix. Left-handed hitter with an even base and balanced stance in the box. Short heal-lift trigger stride and high-back elbow slot with separation. Some loft to the barrel path working the middle of the field with a soft front side finish. Increased impact with feel for the barrel as he adds size to projectable lean build. Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
