2023 Michigan Indoor Showcase
Dylan Crowe is a 2027 C/3B, SS, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Brighton, MI who attends Hartland. Tall, lean build with a lot of time to continue adding strength to the frame. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, side saddled setup, gains ground to second, uphill release on throws, ball gets to the bag quickly with carry. Quick operation behind the plate, gets rid of it in a hurry and has a compact arm action. Throws have tail, up to 74 mph and a pop time of 2.06. Also worked out in the infield, fields the ball in the middle of the body, deep funnel, ball gets on him quickly at times, same uphill release that we saw behind the plate. Throws were accurate, should only get better as he adds strength to the body. Looked good charging in and changed arm slots, recorded throws across up to 76 mph. Right-handed hitter, slightly open stance with high hands and a high back elbow. Struggled to get timed up early on in the round. Rhythmic cut with solid bat speed, another facet that will get better as he gains strength. Solid foundational swing. Excellent student.
