Chase Jones is a 2027 OF/1B with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Stockbridge, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Compact, stronger looking frame with room to fill out. Recorded a 7.22 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary outfielder with a fundamentally sound defensive workout. Uses athletic actions to field properly off his front foot, gathers cleanly and maintains momentum into release. Recorded fairly accurate throws up to 81 mph during drills. Secondary first baseman with a quick first step and clean funnel out in-front. Showed some agility on his turns to throw and recorded arm strength up to 80 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter that hits from a wider base with a high hand set and high back elbow. Intent based swing with compact, linear stroke and physicality to it. Middle-to-opposite field impact with loud impact when on-time and in-sync, will improve overall feel for the barrel and consistency with proper swing adjustments. Athletic, fundamentally sound prospect with offensive upside. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
