John Trainor is a 2024 SS/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Burbank, CA who attends Notre Dame. Small frame, slender build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.95 seconds. Primary infielder, has good hands with quick feet, moved well laterally to both sides of the field. Had a quick transition with accurate throws. Was comfortable throwing from multiple arm slots. Right-handed hitter, hits from a narrow base with a leg kick, hands sit even with the shoulder. Has a middle away approach with a quick compact swing with a slight lift to his swing. Showed the ability to hit the ball well to all fields. Excellent student.
