Brandon Exley is a 2022 SS/RHP with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Rincon, GA who attends Calvary Day. Recorded a 7.12 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, athletic looking frame with some length to his limbs and room to add strength. Primary middle-infielder with solid defensive skill set; shows ability to range laterally to either side with clean hands and fairly quick transfers. Displayed good usage of his lower half through the fielding process, staying low and working downhill through the baseball. Recorded arm strength up to 84 mph across the diamond with accuracy from multiple arm angles. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked exclusively from the stretch. Simple delivery with coiled leg lift, shorter stride out to foot strike and good extension through release. Fastball worked in the low-80s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 83 mph in this look from a high three-quarters arm slot. Proficient strike thrower with ability to command both sides of the plate, occasionally cutting his fastball to miss barrels. Solid outing with good results, will continue to improve with minor refinements to his mechanics and additional velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide, slightly open stance with tight hand set, high back elbow and small leg lift trigger. Contact oriented swing with rotational lower half, some quickness to his hands and some feel for the barrel. Mostly middle-of-the field approach with tendency to pull off slightly with upper-half and push his hands inside the baseball. Developing bat-to-ball skills with best impact to the gaps when on-time and in-sync. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
