Luca Miller is a 2028 OF/LHP with a 5-2 105 lb. frame from Deforest, WI who attends De Forest. Works from a lean compact frame with longer levers. Primary outfielder, stays low as he works through the baseball, fields it properly off the front foot, delivered low and accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 66 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, lights the leg up to the belt, slight lean back prior to separating, breaks into a shorter arm path, releases from a low three-quarters slot, located the fastball well, topped it out at 67 mph, landed a well-tunneled short slider for strikes, good feel for spinning it, projects for more velocity with added strength. Left-handed hitter, starts in a narrow slightly open base with a high hand set-up and high back elbow, gets into the back-side well and creates some bat speed through the zone, commands the barrel well, works the entire field, produced several line drives to the middle of the field, recorded an exit velocity of 60 mph. Ran an 8.76 sixty-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
