Luke Weber is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Highland Park, IL who attends Highland Park. Large frame with strong, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 6.81 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, great drive down the slope with good direction in lower half, three quarters slot release, power fastball at 87-89 mph with good life, missed bats in zone consistently, slider has late depth, showed changeup with great fade and arm speed. Hits from even-based stance with leg lift trigger, stiffer in hands through load and launch, flashes good bat speed on more compact path, shows big strength to pull-side with power in that direction, good hitting tools. Worked out in the outfield and showed off the arm strength, moved well and has clean footwork, clocked up to 94 mph on throws back to the infield. Good student, committed to Illinois. Named to 2023 North Indoor Top Prospect List.
