2021 National Underclass South Showcase
Cody Duke is a 2025 1B/LHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Tiki Island, TX who attends Lutheran South Academy. Medium frame with some strength to the build. Ran a 7.82 second 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, clean footwork around the bag and to the ball, developing athleticism but gets rid of it on time and is accurate with his throws around the diamond. Secondary left-handed pitcher, longer delivery but gets on line well, releases from a three-quarters slot and generates good run to the arm side on the fastball, hides it well in the back and showed ability to get some swing-and-miss while showing some shape to the breaking ball. Left-handed hitter, long and strong swing, works slightly uphill to impact to create loft to pull, repeats well and showed enough barrel skills to put intriguing power projection on display.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
