Logan Markus is a 2026 IF/RHP/ with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Indianapolis, IN who attends Decatur Central. Big and strong athletic build for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open bent knee stance with a short stride into contact, busy hand load, drops his back shoulder to start his swing and has an uphill swing path, swings hard and is looking to lift and drive the ball, has some strength driven bat speed and pop. 7.59 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder on defense with third base actions and projection, has good balance on the routine plays and an idea on his footwork, glove can get down earlier, good arm strength across the diamond for a freshman. Took a turn on the mound, works from a well controlled delivery with good direction down the mound and a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight with good downhill angle and was consistently low in the zone. Got ahead in counts and was able to use a full array of off-speed pitches, would benefit from throwing just a curveball and one type of change up for now but showed a nice feel for throwing strikes. Very good student. Named to the Indianapolis Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
