Caden Opperman is a 2026 RHP/3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Carrollton, GA who attends Carrollton. Thick sizable build. On the mound, works out of a hybrid style windup with heel turn to a belt high lift. Medium arm stroke with present arm speed for the age and class. Maintains balance and posture through the motion. Works over the front foot and commands a lively running heater. Fastball shows slight arm side sink with some heaviness. Command was excellent utilizing all four quadrants of the zone. Slider needs a touch refinement to be truly plus but a very good sweeping type action to it miss bats. Really high quality stuff given the age, very advanced feel on the bump. In the infield, the mold fits a corner, lacks a bit of urgency to attack the baseball but secured the ball cleanly with an arm that plays. At the plate, he sets up with narrow base and high back elbow. The swing creates leverage to impact baseballs through the gaps. Some signs of things to like going forward. 8.54 60-yard. Very good student. Named to the Top Prospect list.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
