Zack McMahon is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 5-6 158 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Catawba Ridge. Compact build with some present strength and room for more. 7.49 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, gets good jumps on the ball and showed range in all directions, has good fundamentals approaching the ball and sound footwork, makes on line accurate throws, will be an asset on defense as he gets stronger and faster. Left handed hitter, hits from a high hand start with a good lower half shift into contact, has some flow to his swing, hands tend to stay high a bit too long, pull to mid field contact. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a over the top arm slot and some upper body lean. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, best pitch was a 1/7 curveball with good depth. Much more effective this outing against right handed hitters than left handed hitters. High energy player who likes to compete. Outstanding student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
