Roman Hernandez is a 2023 OF/3B, SS with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from New Castle, DE who attends Delaware Military Academy. Recorded a 7.30 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lanky frame with plenty of projection remaining. Primary outfielder with a developing defensive skill set. Incorporates deliberate footwork into the fielding process, stays behind the baseball well and work into a longer arm action to throw. Recorded arm strength up to 78 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open stance with a high, tight hand set and toe-tap trigger for timing. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics to get to launch, while displaying a loose, leveraged stroke with developing bat-to-ball skills. Projects for long term power potential and will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and physical maturity. Immensely projectable frame with some upside on both sides of the ball. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
