Everett Burgess is a 2025 1B/RHP/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Cypress Creek. Lean athletic build with good length and some present strength and tons of physical projection. 7.15 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has good athleticism and tons of arm strength for that position, has potential as a third baseman and corner outfielder with repetitions and coaching. Right handed hitter, hits with a late hand drop load that creates some downhill plane to his swing, hands stay inside and tight and tend to cut off out front, mid field line drive contact, projects the strength and athleticism to grow as a hitter with adjustments. Also pitched, worked from the stretch with an on line delivery and compact high 3/4's arm action. Fastball worked consistently in the low 80's with good sink and running action. Slider was his go to pitch with late breaking life and good shape and command. Has potential on the mound as a two-way prospect. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
