Chase Anello is a 2026 C/1B with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Wharton. Compact young catcher's build with very good present strength for his age. Left handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance, gets closed on time, pull and lift approach with good hand action through the ball, can impact the ball when he's on time, swung the ball well in the games and showed his power and some swing versatility. Sets up high behind the plate defensively, still developing his footwork, makes accurate throws with a compact arm action, will keep improving defensively with repetitions and fundamental work.
