Nick Conant is a 2024 SS/RHP, 2B, OF with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Hastings, NE who attends Adams Central Jr-Sr. Recorded a 7.09 60yd dash at the event. Medium framed athlete with some strength. Conant is a primary infielder who recorded a velocity of 85 MPH across the field. Showcased a quick arm from short stop, with some quick twitch actions and solid arm strength. Throws play across with carry. The secondary right handed pitcher, starts with a low hand set on the mound. He utilizes the same quicker arm speed from a lower 3/4 arm slot. Works down the mound in line, landing slightly closed. As he continues to progress on the mound, and clean up some mechanics his velocity should continue to climb. In the box, Conant hits from the right side. He hits from a vertical, open stance looking to drive the ball from a linear line drive approach. His front side occasional flies open, leading to inconsistent contact. As the frame continues to get more physical, the hit tools should develop nicely. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
