Eduardo Maldonado is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Saint Cloud, FL who attends Central Pointe Christian. Extra tall and long frame, some current strength but lots of room to continue to fill. Ran a 7.62 in the sixty yard dash. A primary pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch with a simple and boxed leg lift. Full arm swing and a pretty clean release. Really pounds the glove side and forces weak contact. Short slider that he kept down in the zone. A right-handed hitter, starts even and slightly open with a toe tap trigger. Some hand rhythm before Launch, looking to get the head out and pull the ball. Good student.
