Jon Gourrier is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Chaminade Madonna College Prep. A taller frame with a slender build. Has some length showing throughout. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who had an athletic delivery and fielded his position well. He uses a side-step into a leg lift up around the letters, throwing from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Had a loose arm stroke with some whip to it. He hides the ball well through the back. Came out and threw strikes. Overall his delivery was controlled with deliberate movements. His fastball was heavy, and he threw it often. The pitch worked 78-81 T82 mph and spun up to 2,047 RPMs. His breaking ball had 10-4 shape and worked in the upper-60s. Heavy fastball barrage, but it worked. Had 3 punchouts over 3.0 innings of work on the mound. A right-handed hitter with a high-set waist and wider base in the batters' box. Has high-set hands and a high-back elbow. He sinks into his load using a leg lift trigger to get on time. Rotational through contact with some impact pull-side. Lifted a couple of balls pull-side during his round of BP. Produced an 86 mph exit velocity. Picked up a hit during the games portion of the event. Also worked out as an outfielder. One-handed fielding as he worked into the throws. Had a good arm showing with lower flight on his throws that were 85 mph during his round. Threw from a three-quarters slot with one-hop accuracy to the bag. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
