Sam Rosand is a 2025 RHP/C/IF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Washington, DC who attends Landon. There is current strength in the taller and broad frame. Ran a 7.91 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, presents the glove early in a good position out front. Stays under control using a clean transfer and on top release, accurate around the bag with arm strength developing. A right-handed hitter, starts open using a toe tap trigger. Stays short and behind the ball using his heavy barrel to backspin balls hard. Solid plane and aggressive to contact. A secondary pitcher, square start using a boxed and compact delivery. H3/4 release with a natural arm stroke on the back, ball comes out clean from a quicker shoulder. Feel for the changeup and maintained arm speed, the curveball was landed too and has upside with intent. Power arm-power bat future profile.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
