Rylan Roberts is a 2024 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Knox City, MO who attends Knox Co.. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a shorter arm action from a three-quarters to high three-quarters slot. Conventional motion overall, high front side with a mid leg lift. Really has to work to stay on top when working down the mound. Fastball up to 77 mph, likes to go to it early in the count. Changes his tempo to the plate as his outing rolls on. Mixes in a 67 mph 12-to-6 curveball with developing late bite to the plate. In the infield, field out in front well and gathers cleanly. Pumps and is meticulous with his transfer and accuracy across the diamond. Good feel for his glove work to his forehand side. At the plate, uses an upright stance with an inverted front knee. Simple stride trigger, flat barrel plane through the zone, developing bat speed. Showcases good feel for the barrel. Middle of the field approach, good student in the classroom as well.
