Anthony Lovato is a 2022 OF/LHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Bonita Vista. Ran a 7.24 60-yard dash. Two-way prospect. Shows an upright pine throughout the delivery and throws from an over the top slot. He hides the ball well and it creates an unusual look for hitters. Throws with longer arm action. Pairs his fastball with two different breaking balls, one is a looser curveball and the other is a horizontal slider. Shows smooth defensive actions in the outfield. Throws with shorter arm action in the field and throws have carry to them. Shows solid arm strength. At the plate, has a tall set up and swing shows strength to it. Fluid and compact operation and has easy bat to ball ability. Excellent student in the classroom.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
