Andre Vasquez is a 2024 C/3B, MIF, IF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Azle, TX who attends All Saints Episcopal. Medium build. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.55 seconds. A primary catcher who works out of a side saddle setup and showed a quick transfer and release. His best pop time was recorded at 2.06 seconds and his best throw from behind the dish was up to 74 mph. In the infield he showed fundamentally sound footwork and some quick twitch to him as well. His best throw across the infield was clocked at 81 mph. At the plate, he hits out of a open stance. Showed a short and compact swing along with quality intent in his strokes. On the mound his FB peaked at 78 mph while also showing a CB in the arsenal. Great student in the classroom as well.
