Jaxson Smiley is a 2027 IF/RHP with a 5-6 110 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood. Smaller young build. 8.13 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense with a second base profile, moves his feet well and gets in position to field the ball, developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, has a simple swing with good balance and a short stride, clears his hips well and can get the barrel out front and turn it occasionally, direct and short swing that repeats well, good hitting foundation to continue building on as he gets stronger. Also pitched, short side step into a standard 3/4's arm slot, stays on line well. Does a good job of throwing strikes with a fastball that topped out at 70 mph. Sound fundamental player who just needs strength. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
