Jack Chieco is a 2026 OF/2B, SS with a 5-5 140 lb. frame from Oneida, NY who attends Vernon-Verona-Sherrill Senior. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.60 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short strides moving towards the ball and fields it out front, deeper and long arm action through the back side working to an over-the-top release point, carry on throws will continue to develop with getting on top of throws, around the bag, shows clean footwork with some present fluidity. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open and tall stance in the box with a high hand set and back elbow; subtle shift through lower half moving into contact, occasionally gets onto front side early. Shows quickness in hands with a longer path through the zone, comfort working to the pull side, looks to lift at the point of contact and does a nice job of getting the barrel out front, steady line drive contact off of the barrel.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
