Camron Laffitte is a 2024 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Saraland, AL who attends Saraland. Big and strong build for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a big shift into contact, gets his lower half well involved in his swing to help create bat speed, showed his power well in games and can drive the ball to the middle of the field when he stays back and lets the ball travel. 7.65 runner,moves through the ball well in the infield with a good funnel and soft hands out front, arm works well with developing arm strength. Also pitched, big side step delivery with a high leg lift, full arm action from a high 3/4's arm slot. Threw lots of strikes with a fastball that topped out at 71 mph, also showed feel for a big breaking curveball. Good student.
