Michael "MJ" Hough is a 2026 RHP/3B, MIF, OF with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Lake Placid, FL who attends Lake Placid. Recorded a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a lanky frame. Begins operation with a leg lift to belt level, works from an up tempo delivery with lots of intent,. Arm is quick and whippy. Missed bats with the fastball, topping out at 81 mph. Mixed in a curveball with slurvy shape and good depth to it. Secondary infielder and showed aggressive actions with good energy. Moved well laterally and showed the abilty to change slots. Also worked out in the outfield and displayed quality athleticism and good carry on throws, reaching up to 82 mph from the outfield. Switch-hitter and starts from a narrow base from both sides of the plate. Takes an inside path to the ball from the right side, staying through it well. Uses a longer and level bat path from the right side, working the middle of the field. Named to the 2022 Miami Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
