Alex Monile is a 2023 C/OF with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Calvary Christian. Compact frame with good present strength. Ran a 7.36 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, athletic behind the dish, shows quickness out of the crouch and working through the ball, gets rid of it on time with the lower half and showed solid arm strength that produces carry on accurate throws. Lefthanded hitter, sets up balanced and swings with good intent; shows violence through the zone with good present bat speed, fires the hips hard and controls the barrel well when timed up. Showed good strength off impact when squared and can really create backspin when lifted. Good student.
