Marcos Valdez is a 2024 OF/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Rio Rancho, NM who attends V. Sue Cleveland. Features an athletic frame. He works with a two-pitch mix that includes a fastball and a change up locating both pitches effectively. He works out of a full wind up with a 3/4 arm slot. He stayed around the zone throughout the outing. In the outfield he has proper footwork and glove mechanics. He has an accurate arm with the ability to one hop. At the plate he has a wide, slightly open stance with a leg lift. He has an up the middle approach with ability to find barrels.
